Brenton9 - Why I Can't Wait!

If you've read my blog for the past few weeks, then you are well aware of how often I analyze trailers. I may even say that I like trailers more then I like movies.
So, with that said, I believe the primary reason I cannot wait for this particular film is how breathtaking the trailer is. It's one of those trailers that give you goosebumps.
The second reason is the fact that Tim Burton has a hand in this one. And we all know that everything he touches is gold - creepy gold, but gold.
Another thing to note about this film is the fact that it isn't a kids movie. It's actually rated Pg-13. So this movie isn't made for 6-year-old Johnny.
I'm also excited about the voice talent. Christopher Plummer is the voice of 1 and he is one of my all time favorite actors. Even if he's just a voice - I'm sure he will be fantastic.
Elijah Wood is the main voice actor. I must admit that when I heard the character of 9 open his mouth in the trailer I knew exactly who he was. Elijah Wood was one of my biggest celebrity crushes a few years back. I still have a soft spot for "Frodo".
Currently, the film has been getting decent reviews. So I'm crossing my fingers. Let's hope that this movie is one where the trailer reflects the film.

speaking of Timur Bekmambetov, you ever see nightwatch or daywatch? i suggest them both! if you get nightwatch get it on dvd and watch it in russian with english subtitles, someone went through alot of work to make those damn subtitles badass
