Anything Good Coming Out?

Like I've said before - this feels like a dry season for films. So I thought I'd do some research and figure out what movies there are to look forward to this October.
The Invention of Lying (Oct 2) - Looks funny, but seems a bit strange. I'm interested to see if this concept works without reissuing jokes from Liar, Liar.
A Serious Man(Oct 2) - has me interested. It looks delightfully dark and amusing.
Whip It (Oct 2) - Looks promising
Where the Wild Things Are (Oct 16) - I got chills when I saw the trailer. This will either be epic or epic fail.
New York, I Love You (Oct 16) - seems charming. If it doesn't turn into a typical romance film then I'll be happy.
Amelia (Oct 23) - could be one of those Academy Award films, either brilliant or good but you will never watch it. I think this one is going to be good though.
