Geez, Cameron! You know how to tell a story - Avatar Review

James Cameron. Honestly, I felt like he got a little bloated after Titanic but really..he may have reason to be.
Avatar was amazing, and I didn't even watch it in 3D. Great story, great actors, great visuals, amazing special effects. I mean- this is the James Cameron from Terminator 2 - the one I love!
The fascinating and ironic thing about Cameron is that he seems to be the one there during
a step forward in special effects technology. He brought us believable special effects in the early 1990s and with Titanic he pointed movie makers in the direction that this past decade would go.
I feel like the special effects technology in Avatar is a beginning in movie making for the next decade.
If I have anything bad to say about this film it's this:
*Spoilers*
My critique would be the believability of the villain Colonel Miles Quaritch. He was just bad because he was bad. I didn't feel like he had any motivation to be that way. He just was.
But other then that this movie was great!
