This Weekend: Stay Home or Go See Inglourious Basterds Again
August 28th 2009 22:49
Talk about a dry weekend. This weekend is so dry at the movies that our little old theatre got one film that was three weeks old and other that was almost two months old.
The three movies to be released today: Halloween II, The Final Destination, and Taking Woodstock don't seem to be getting too many fresh tomatoes on Rottentomatoes.com. I'm disappointed about Taking Woodstock. I'm a fan of Ang Lee (Except for his atrocious attempt to bring the Hulk to the big screen) and I like movies that take place in the 1960's - one of my favorites decades in American History.
But, sadly, not even Ang Lee will bring light to the movie theatres this weekend. My suggestion is to read a book, stream a movie, watch Dr. Who (you don't know what you're missing), or go see Inglourious Basterds again and contemplate the impact of the ending.

Dunk Films
There's plenty of other films to see like Worlds Greatest Dad and Big Fan and District 9 which is better than Inglorious Basterds.
