Our little hometown theatre just got All About Steve today. I heard the awful reviews prior to putting this wreck together, but I still felt good about sitting down in the empty theatre with Sandra Bullock.
About 20 minutes into the film I wanted to know nothing about Steve. It was an embarrassing, awkward wreck.
Regardless of how I feel about it, I had to finish it. So I grabbed my laptop and returned to the theatre. I started to look up the reviews for the film and then I came across something at rottentomatoes.com.
The 100 worst movies of the past decade.
Intrigued I clicked on it. I wasn't surprised to find All About Steve holding strong at number 95.
Honestly, I wasn't surprised to see a lot of the movies in the list. There were a handful that had come to our theatre in the past two years which I had to sit through.
Hopefully, this dead season of movies will end soon.
PS: I love bad movies when accompanied by the MST3K crew.
