The Inevitable Eclipse Review

I don't have much to say about this film that hasn't already been said. If I wanted to sum this movie up into one word that word would be this: Boring
It was just dull. Even when I watched it with two others who were ready and willing to poke fun at it the whole time. Even then- it was boring.
Aside from the boring I guess It was the better of the three Twilight films so far. Slightly better acted and there was a smattering of action.
I just couldn't get past the clunky dialogue and the over usage of sweeping camera angles. I could care less about the characters and Bella could've chosen the main vampire villain Victoria for all I cared!
I think the director thought the audience would already have an attachment to the characters going into it because he doesn't really try to make them likable. Edward's a controlling douche, Bella's a whiney, 2-dimentional, female stereotype and Jacob has nice abs (what?!).
Ok, yes there was action but it was laughable. Like I said in my trailer review- the vampires weren't scary at all. They're somewhere between gap models and hipsters. And the werewolves were cartoonish at best.
I don't know how the next two movies are going to turn out. I thought I heard somewhere about them being in 3D. I don't know if that'll make it more exciting or not. But if 3D makes Jacob's abs jump out at ya, then it'll be worth it!
