Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead

I'm not that spontaneous. I'm actually trying to work spontaneity into my life. I'm just taking baby steps. For instance, I took Netflix at it's word and watched one of the random streaming films it recommended.
I'm fascinated by documentaries so why not? I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead on a whim. I don't regret it!
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead follows an Australian businessman as he fasts for 60 days. The only thing he eats are juiced fruits and vegetables. Joe Cross was overweight and taking medication. He believed that if he continued with his current lifestyle he would wind up dead very soon.
As he travels across America on his diet he meets many people to discuss health and eating habits. On one stop he meets another man who has the same autoimmune disorder that he does. This man soon embarks on the same juice diet/fast in order to take control of his own failing health.
This documentary is along the same lines as Super Size Me except this one is slightly more upbeat and light hearted. Inspirational is also a word I would use when discussing this film. Joe Cross is a likable guy with admirable determination. His transformation from 310 pounds Aussie to lean, fit, and driven hottie (yes, I just wrote that. It's now on the internet) is nothing short of amazing!
Apart from being spontaneous (lol) I watched this because I'm beginning to make more active and healthy choices with my own life. I'm not overweight but I have terrible eating habits- ranging from going without eating to grabbing snacks from Taco Bell too frequently.
After watching this I may add 'buying a juicer' on my list of ways to get fit.
