Paul

I'm a huge fan of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Kristin Wiig so I was really excited to see this one.
In this Pegg-Frost production we follow two sci-fi geeks as they trek across America after Comic-Con. (Brilliant! They're speaking my language.) They stumble across a real-life alien named Paul and soon find themselves being pursued by the government to get the little guy back.
I definitely don't think this one is as strong as the other Pegg-Frost films I've seen. This one seemed too 'Americanized'. I missed the random, witty British humor of Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
That being said, this movie wasn't at all bad. It was funny. You really can't NOT laugh at a CGI Alien with Seth Rogen's voice commenting on our limited and F-ed up intelligence or his own sexual prowess. And there were plenty of geek related jokes and Spielberg references to keep me happy.
