Red

I'm sorry! I'm just so caught up in TV Land for one reason or another. Conan's epic return to telly, Glee's getting good and I just cannot turn off those Winchester boys.
So I keep forgetting about movies. I'll get my act together here soon, I promise. I just need the Oscar-worthy movies and holiday popcorn flicks to start rolling out.
But until then- I'll watch what I can.
Me and my 'girls-night' buds went to see Red the other day. I'm not a huge Bruce Willis fan..ok, I don't really like him at all. UNLESS he resembles John McClane from Die Hard - then I think he's the coolest thing since J.J. Abrams thought he'd give the Enterprise a go.
So back to Red. Fun, witty, good action scenes- altogether a solid action/comedy. Great cast (Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Karl Urban) great script- I'd give this one an A- if I graded movies (which I don't) but if I did.
We went away thorougly entertained! I'd watch it a couple of more times for the comedic violence. If anything I'd watch it again to marvel at how nice Karl Urban's hair looks.
mm.
