I'm not talking about any plot twists, I'm saying that it surprised me in general. I thought that it would just be a mindless thriller. And I honestly don't know why I assumed that- I mean it was directed by Martin Scorsese.
The film ran a bit long and there were a couple of 'useless' scenes that were there just to throw the audience off-track but other then that, I'd recommend this thriller!
So Three Reason:
1. Directorial style. The style of the film was unique and refreshing. I found it odd at first but it kept me on my toes and intrigued me.
2. DeCaprio. I'm not really a Leonardo Decaprio fan at all. He's ok. But he really broke my heart in this film! There were a couple of scenes where he had my complete and utter attention.
3. Interesting twist. I don't want to say to much about this. Just know that there's some good plot turns here and there.
