How Much I Liked How to Train Your Dragon

So I thought I got the short end of the stick when I had to build and watch How to Train Your Dragon.
But I was wrong. Talk about a fun film! It was surprisingly clever and thoroughly entertaining. The only issue I had with this one was some of the cliche', cheesy lines and the I-know-I've-seen-this-before plot.
So Three reasons to see this movie.
1.) 3D. I've said it before and I'll say it again- I'm not a real big fan of 3D. I admit that I did not see this one in 3D but the visuals were amazing simply in 2D. So I can safely assume that the 3D version will take this one step further.
2.) Funny. I guess I'm just reiterating myself here, but it was really funny. There were cute, and vicious dragons that charm you with their personalities. Hiccup (our hero) is both silly and noble. The humor occurs naturally from unique and even awkward situations that appeals to all ages.
3.) The Message. I did say that the plot is one that's been used before but I guess I can't really fault it. It's a good message. The story encourages the viewers to learn about a different culture instead of just making judgements. Of course the culture in this movie are a colorful range of dragons, but I think the audience still gets the point.
