Up In The Air Review
January 10th 2010 07:48
I was underwhelmed with Up in the Air.
I like George Clooney and I like Jason Reitman, but I just couldn't get into the story. I felt for Clooney's character, but the actual point of the film evaded me. I felt as if it kept traveling around without actually getting anywhere- and maybe that was the point.
The marriage montage was a sentimental mess.
For me, the shining light of this movie was Anna Kendrick. She was spectacular! Who would have thought she had so much talent! Her character was well written and perfectly acted. I instantly felt and related to her. If you watch this movie, watch it for her performance. You won't regret it.
